Bigi Powers Electrifying Showstopper Night as Nigerian Idol Season 10 Enters Final Lap




The race to crown the next Nigerian Idol reached a fever pitch on Sunday night as the top five contestants delivered a spectacular array of performances during the Season 10 Showstopper Edition, proudly sponsored by Bigi, Nigeria’s leading refreshing soft drink brand.


Aired live on Africa Magic, the evening was a vibrant mix of talent, passion, and energy, as the remaining contestants took the stage with one goal — to secure a coveted spot in the finals.


Opening the show was celebrated Nigerian artiste Ric Hassani, who thrilled the audience with a captivating performance of Isokuso, a standout track from his Lagos Loverboy album, setting the perfect tone for a night to remember.


First up was Miki, whose emotional and stirring rendition of Beyoncé’s Spirit earned loud applause and praise from the judges. Raymu followed with an electrifying performance of David Guetta’s Titanium, showcasing his vocal strength and stage presence.


Lawrence returned to the stage with another memorable performance, this time taking on Michael Jackson’s legendary hit Black or White, much to the delight of the live audience.


Purp, the only female contestant left in the competition, gave a commanding performance of Aretha Franklin’s classic Respect, earning a standing ovation and a powerful remark from judge Omawumi: “What a man can do, a woman can do better!”


Rounding off the night was Brammy, who turned up the energy with a dynamic performance of Chris Brown’s Yeah!, drawing cheers and excitement from fans across the country.
