Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos – June 25, 2025

In a significant step toward promoting a cleaner and more sustainable environment, the Ibeju-Lekki Local Government has added a major asset to its waste management efforts with the acquisition and deployment of a brand-new waste compactor truck.

The initiative, spearheaded by the Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, marks yet another milestone in the administration’s ongoing campaign for environmental sustainability and public health.

The compactor truck, which officially commenced operations today, is expected to enhance waste collection and disposal efficiency across all communities within the local government area. This intervention is in line with the chairman’s commitment to ensuring a cleaner, safer, and healthier environment for all residents.
