ACN-CPC Alliance Has Collapsed – Primate Ayodele Declares.....Warns Tinubu, Labels Buhari a “Bad Omen” for APC

The spiritual leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has declared that the political merger between the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) and the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC), which gave birth to the All Progressives Congress (APC), has collapsed.

Speaking during a church service on Tuesday, July 25, 2025, at the church headquarters in Ejigbo, Lagos, Primate Ayodele stated that the alliance is no longer intact and warned that it spells trouble for the ruling APC.

According to the cleric, former President Muhammadu Buhari has become a “bad omen” to the APC, stressing that his influence has only brought setbacks to the party. He added that the emerging political force in the country, the African Democratic Congress (ADC), is determined and prepared to do everything possible to win the next general elections.

“ADC is not joking; they are hell-bent on winning. APC does not understand the weight ADC carries. Tinubu must wake up and not take them for granted,” Ayodele warned.

He, however, advised the ADC leadership to remain prayerful and vigilant, as there is an individual within the party who could derail its progress.

“There’s someone who wants to determine the future of ADC, and if allowed, this person will drag the party backward. They must not put all their trust in him. If not managed well, ADC could experience a political summersault,” he said.

Primate Ayodele further predicted that the ADC has the potential to produce governors in the next elections if the party remains united and seeks divine guidance.

He emphasized that the real political battle ahead will be between APC and ADC, noting that the internal cracks within the APC will worsen as some of its own members may eventually turn against the party.

“I said it before that the ACN and CPC merger would break — and now it has. Buhari’s presence has become a burden for APC, and that will double the work for Tinubu if he intends to remain politically relevant,” he added.

The fiery prophet urged President Tinubu and the APC leadership to take the threat from ADC seriously and focus on mending internal divisions ahead of the coming elections.
