Lagos, Nigeria – In a bold demonstration of its commitment to clean energy, JMG Limited, a leading provider of power solutions in Nigeria, has commissioned a cutting-edge 129kWp hybrid solar power system at its Head Office in Lagos. The move not only underscores the company’s leadership in renewable energy but also delivers impressive cost savings and environmental benefits.

The high-performance solar installation—designed and executed by JMG’s Solar Division—utilizes premium technology from global energy giants Longi and Deye. It combines Longi’s 575W solar panels, high-efficiency Deye hybrid inverters, and a 122.9kWh DEYE high-voltage lithium-ion battery storage system. Together, the hybrid solution is capable of generating up to 15.48 megawatt-hours (MWh) of clean energy monthly, meeting 90% of the company’s total power demand.

As a result, JMG is achieving significant energy savings—cutting diesel usage by more than 34,800 liters annually, translating to an estimated ₦40 million in cost savings each year. Beyond the financial impact, the project will eliminate more than 71 metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions annually, positioning JMG as a model for environmental responsibility in the Nigerian business landscape.

The installation also features a smart energy monitoring interface and dual-mounting design, with panels strategically placed on both the rooftop and carport to maximize efficiency and space utilization.
