Ibeju-Lekki Chairman Joins Senator Abiru on Inspection Tour of SAIL Innovation and Youth Center

Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos – July 6, 2025

The Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, today joined the Distinguished Senator representing Lagos East, Senator Mikhail Adetokunbo Abiru, on an inspection tour of the SAIL Innovation and Youth Center in Orimedu, Ibeju-Lekki.

The state-of-the-art facility, which is over 90 percent completed, is set to be commissioned soon. Designed to empower young people in the area, the center features a variety of amenities including a tech innovation hub, vocational training centers, an indoor table tennis complex, and a mini soccer stadium.

Hon. Olowa commended Senator Abiru for his commitment to youth development and innovation across Lagos East Senatorial District, noting that the center would serve as a major boost to the local economy and create opportunities for the youth in Ibeju-Lekki and beyond.

The inspection visit underscores the collaborative efforts between local and federal representatives to drive sustainable development and empowerment in the region.
