Ibeju-Lekki Secures Pan Atlantic University Scholarships for 11 Students

Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos – The educational advancement drive of the Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa-led administration has recorded another milestone as 11 students from Ibeju-Lekki have been awarded scholarships to study at Pan Atlantic University (PAU).

The beneficiaries, all products of the council’s weekend tutorial classes, earned the scholarships following their outstanding performances in the 2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).

The scholarship package, made possible through a partnership between Ibeju-Lekki Local Government and Pan Atlantic University, will cover 98% of the students’ tuition fees. The local government will fund the remaining 2%, as well as cover hostel expenses and the cost of study materials.

Hon. Olowa, who has consistently championed educational empowerment in the council, said the initiative is part of a long-term strategy to position Ibeju-Lekki students for academic excellence and future success.

“This is an investment in our children and our future. We believe the returns will be evident in the years to come as these young people go on to achieve great things,” he stated.

The council congratulated the awardees, urging them to remain focused and make the most of the opportunity.
