Ikeja APC Women Leaders Pledge Support for Chairman Dauda’s Administration

Ikeja, Lagos – The Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda (AKOD), has received the All Progressives Congress (APC) Women Leaders and their assistants from across the six wards of Ikeja, who paid him a courtesy visit at his Ikeja House office.

The delegation, led by the Ikeja LGA Women Leader, Alhaja Sidikat Illo, congratulated the chairman on his assumption of office and commended his achievements within his first three weeks in office. According to them, his early strides reflect the kind of progress others might take a year to accomplish.

The women leaders appealed to the chairman to carry them along in the administration’s programmes, assuring him of their prayers and total support for the success of his tenure.

In his remarks, Chairman Dauda expressed gratitude to the delegation for their loyalty and contributions to the party’s victory at the polls. He reaffirmed his commitment to women empowerment under the I.K.E.J.A Agenda, which, he said, places women at the heart of governance.

“I will not let the women of Ikeja down. With your continued support and prayers, every resident of Ikeja will enjoy Better Days,” Dauda assured.

The meeting was also attended by the Vice Chairman, Hon. Abisola Omisore (Omituntun), and the Chief of Staff to the Chairman, Hon. Adeniyi Adeyi (Baba Oja).
