Jamara Home has announced Jibunma Maryjane as the winner of its 2025 International Day of Friendship Giveaway, after her heartfelt tribute to her best friend, Agada Esther, captured the admiration of audiences online.

Her post on Instagram, which highlighted the warmth and authenticity of their bond, attracted 4,337 likes and 47 messages—earning her the top spot and the grand prize, a premium Aeon Barossa Gas Cooker.

The competition, organised in collaboration with Aeon Barossa, invited participants to post photos or videos with their best friends, tag them, and share why they are special. The entry with the most engagement emerged the winner.

Speaking while receiving her prize at Jamara Home’s Omole showroom, the elated Maryjane expressed gratitude for the platform.

> “I got to know about the contest from Jamara Home’s Instagram page and participated because I wanted to put a smile on my friend’s face. Winning has made the experience even more meaningful,” she said.

Asked what makes her friend special, she described Esther as “a true friend and a genuinely kind person” who has been a constant support.
