Sandisk has announced the launch of the WD Blue® SN5100 NVMe™ SSD, a next-generation solid-state drive designed to deliver faster performance for creators and professionals working on demanding, AI-enabled workflows.

The new PCIe® Gen 4.0 drive offers speeds nearly 30% faster than the previous generation, enabling seamless editing, rendering, and transfer of high-resolution video, images, and other large assets.

Powered by Sandisk’s BiCS8 QLC NAND technology, the WD Blue SN5100 is optimized for handling intensive workloads, including 4K and 8K video projects. It promises improved multitasking, expanded storage, and durability, backed by a five-year limited warranty.
