Eid-El-Maulud: Governor Soludo Felicitates With Muslim Ummah, Calls for Unity and Tolerance

Awka, Nigeria – Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR, has congratulated the Muslim Ummah in the state and across Nigeria on the occasion of Eid-El-Maulud, which marks the birth of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

In a goodwill message issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Christian Aburime, Governor Soludo described the celebration as not only a time of joy but also an opportunity for sober reflection on the values of peace, love, and compassion exemplified by the Prophet.

He noted that Prophet Muhammad’s teachings emphasize unity, kindness, and respect for all, regardless of faith or background, and urged Muslims to embrace tolerance, understanding, and harmony for the advancement of society.

“Here in Anambra, our government remains committed to building an inclusive environment where residents can co-exist peacefully, no matter their faith,” the Governor stated.

Governor Soludo prayed that the Eid-El-Maulud celebration brings joy, peace, and prosperity to Muslims in Anambra and across the country, wishing them a blessed and fulfilling festival.
