Lagos, Nigeria – Wednesday, September 3, 2025 — Nigeria is set to host its first dedicated podcast and storytelling festival as PodFest Naija – A Festival of Stories makes its debut on Friday, October 10, 2025, at Harbour Point, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The one-day event will bring together some of the country’s most influential creators, policymakers, and brands to explore the power of storytelling in shaping culture, driving innovation, and fostering collaboration.

Positioned as an annual creative convergence, PodFest Naija will feature live podcast shows, workshops, masterclasses, and cultural showcases. The festival is designed to celebrate creativity, strengthen collaboration, and provide a platform for discovery within Nigeria’s rapidly growing podcasting and storytelling ecosystem.

Backed by major sponsors including Coca-Cola, The Place, Crown Flour Mills, Sterling Bank, UAC Foods, and Post Assurance, and supported by media partners such as News Central, Megalectrics, The Cable, Cueball Communications, Aster Media, and DLC Media, the festival is expected to become a landmark cultural event.

A dynamic lineup of notable voices from across media, innovation, and culture will headline the event. Confirmed speakers include Obi Asika, Chude Jideonwo, Seun Okinbaloye, Tunde Onakoya, Adaora Mbelu, Morayo Afolabi-Brown, Rufai Oseni, and Masoyinbo, among others.
