DIG Abiodun Alabi Extols Dr. Ayo Ogunsan at 49, Describes Him as “A Friend and Brother Worth Celebrating”

Former Deputy Inspector-General of Police, Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID), Abuja, DIG Sylvester Abiodun Alabi, fdc (Rtd), has joined the long list of admirers celebrating Dr. Ayo Ogunsan on his 49th birthday, describing him as “a rare gem whose life continues to inspire hope and transformation.”
In a heartfelt tribute made available to the National Association of Online Security News Publishers (NAOSNP), the former Lagos Police Commissioner and ex-AIG Zone 2 (Lagos and Ogun States) expressed deep admiration for Dr. Ogunsan, noting that his life has been marked by consistent service, leadership, and a passion for humanity.
“On this very special occasion of your birthday, I write with profound joy, admiration, and gratitude to celebrate a man whose life and work continue to be a source of inspiration, hope, and transformation to many. It is a rare privilege to know you, and an even greater honour to call you a friend and brother,” Alabi wrote.
Reflecting on their long-standing relationship, DIG Alabi praised Dr. Ogunsan’s humility, vision, and devotion to societal development. “Your journey is one marked by uncommon vision, passionate dedication, and an unwavering commitment to societal progress. You have not only excelled professionally but have also made deliberate efforts to give back to the society that nurtured you,” he said.
He commended Ogunsan’s relentless advocacy for youth empowerment, education, and value-based leadership, noting that his philanthropic efforts have impacted countless lives. “You are one of the few individuals whose integrity and generosity are evident not only in words but in action,” Alabi emphasized.
Highlighting his immense contributions through the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) and other initiatives, the retired DIG observed that Dr. Ogunsan has consistently used his influence to uplift others rather than for personal gain. “You have shown that true leadership has a human face.
