Lagos State Government Honours Adron Homes for Advancing Sustainable Urban Development
Adron Homes has been recognized by the Lagos State Government for its outstanding contributions to sustainable urban growth and responsible real estate development. The recognition came in the form of an Appreciation Award presented by the Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development during the 2025 World Habitat Day celebration held in Lagos on October 6.
This year’s event, themed “Urban Crisis Response: Flooding in Focus,” brought together top policymakers, industry leaders, and urban development experts to deliberate on innovative strategies for tackling urban challenges, particularly flooding and environmental sustainability.
Speaking at the event, the Honourable Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Dr. Oluyinka Olumide, commended Adron Homes for its “outstanding service and support toward sustainable urban growth.” He noted that the company’s consistent efforts in housing delivery, infrastructure investment, and community planning have continued to complement government initiatives aimed at building livable, inclusive, and resilient cities.
Receiving the award on behalf of the company, the Managing Director of Adron Homes, Mrs. Adenike Ajobo, expressed appreciation to the Lagos State Government for the honour, reaffirming the firm’s dedication to nation-building through innovative and responsible real estate practices.
“We are deeply honoured by this recognition from the Lagos State Government. It reinforces our commitment to nation-building through real estate innovation and responsible urban development. At Adron Homes, we believe in creating communities that foster growth, safety, and sustainability. We will continue to support the government’s drive toward livable cities through proper planning, environmental responsibility, and inclusive development,” she stated.
Accompanying Mrs. Ajobo at the ceremony were top company executives, including Mr. Teddy Babatunde, Deputy Managing Director (Sales and Marketing), as well as Tpl. Dipeolu Rotimi and Tpl. Waliu, who joined in receiving the award and engaging with other industry stakeholders during the event.
The honour coincided with International Customer Service Week 2025, themed “Mission Possible.” For Adron Homes, the award underscores its customer-centered philosophy and enduring commitment to building not just houses, but sustainable communities where families can thrive.
This latest recognition adds to Adron Homes’ growing list of accolades as one of Nigeria’s leading real estate brands—renowned for its visionary approach to estate development, customer satisfaction, and urban renewal across the country.
