…Council Chairman Olowa Reaffirms Commitment to Citizens’ Welfare
The Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, received officials from FGN Power, the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) Abuja and Lagos offices, and the Lagos State Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.
The visit was part of an inspection exercise aimed at establishing the Right of Way from the TCN Ajah Substation to Eleko Junction, in preparation for the commencement of the Ibeju-Lekki Electrification Intervention Project at Eleko.
Speaking during the visit, Hon. Olowa — who also serves as Chairman of Conference 57, the association of local government chairmen in Lagos State — reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to improving the welfare and quality of life of residents through strategic infrastructure and energy projects.
He emphasized that the electrification initiative represents another milestone in the council’s drive to attract development and enhance economic opportunities across Ibeju-Lekki.
