Agboyi-Ketu LCDA Sets Date for Grand Finale of Chairman’s Unity Cup 2025

The Executive Chairman of Agboyi-Ketu Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. (Mrs.) Adetola Adunni Abubakar, has announced that the Grand Finale of the Chairman’s Unity Cup 2025hj will take place on Tuesday, November 25, 2025. The final match is scheduled to kick off at 3:00pm at the Oba Lamina Mini Stadium, Agboyi II (Agboyi Ori-Omi).

The Unity Cup, introduced as part of events marking the Chairman’s first 100 Days in Office, has engaged youth teams across the LCDA in a spirited football contest. Hon. Abubakar stated that the tournament is not just about sports, but a strategic youth-focused initiative aimed at strengthening unity, promoting talent, and fostering social cohesion within the community.

She emphasized that nurturing young people through constructive programmes remains a key priority of her administration. According to her, the Unity Cup serves as a platform that encourages sportsmanship, empowers emerging talents, and supports community growth.

Hon. Abubakar further assured residents that her government will continue to invest in youth development projects and community-building efforts that uphold peace, unity, and sustainable progress across Agboyi-Ketu.
