Eti-Osa East Indigenous Baales Pay Courtesy Visit to Ibeju-Lekki Chairman, Hon. Olowa



The Indigenous Association of Baales in Council, Eti-Osa East Local Council Development Area (LCDA), on Wednesday, paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa.

The meeting, held at the Ibeju-Lekki Local Government Secretariat, focused on strengthening collaboration between traditional institutions and local government authorities. Discussions centered on joint efforts to address key developmental challenges, including infrastructure, economic growth, security, and environmental issues affecting both councils.

During the visit, the traditional leaders formally invited Hon. Olowa to serve as the guest lecturer at the Association’s forthcoming Annual General Meeting scheduled for December 18, 2025.

The Baales present at the meeting were:

  • Chief Lateef Atanda Olatunji, Baale of Morekete Town
  • Chief Sikiru Oluwanisola Cole, Baale of Iranla
  • Chief Sikiru Okanlawon, Baale of Okun Ajah
  • Chief Sulaiman Kamil, Baale of Oke-Ira Nla
  • Alhaji Oloye Okunmoyinbo Mustapha, Baale of Alasia Town

The visit underscored the ongoing partnership between grassroots traditional authorities and elected leadership in advancing community development across Lagos State.
