FirstBank Partners Verve to Reward Customers with Free Debit Cards, Extends Good Life Promo

Lagos, Nigeria – October 30, 2025:
First Bank of Nigeria Limited (FirstBank), Nigeria’s premier financial inclusion service provider, has launched the Verve Flash Promo, an initiative designed to reward loyal customers with free Verve debit cards as part of efforts to enhance convenience, accessibility, and customer satisfaction.

The campaign, which kicked off on October 6, 2025, will run until January 30, 2026, and targets customers whose ATM cards have expired. Under the initiative, 131 customers will receive free Verve cards daily on a first-come, first-served basis across FirstBank branches nationwide.

Speaking on the promo, Chuma Ezirim, Group Executive, e-Business and Retail Products at FirstBank, said the initiative reflects the bank’s legacy of over 131 years of trust, innovation, and customer-focused service delivery.

“The Verve Flash Promo is not just about giving out free debit cards; it’s about celebrating our journey of resilience and innovation in Nigeria’s financial services industry,” Ezirim said.

Meanwhile, the Verve Good Life Promo, which rewards Verve cardholders for using their cards at select merchants, has been extended until November 30, 2025.

During the promo period, Verve cardholders will enjoy 10% cashback every Thursday to Sunday at participating outlets including The Place Restaurant, Quickteller, Buypower, Filmhouse, AliExpress, Addide Supermarkets, and the Chowdeck app.

Additionally, Verve cardholders can now enjoy 10% cashback on Google Play Store purchases any day of the week, while every Verve card transaction—whether via ATM, POS, or online—automatically qualifies customers for a chance to win up to ₦1 million.
