Ibeju-Lekki Shortlists 4,000 Beneficiaries for Renewed Hope Conditional Cash Transfer Programme

The Ibeju-Lekki Local Government has shortlisted 4,000 residents from a pool of 11,296 applicants captured under the Renewed Hope Social Register to benefit from the Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT) Programme.

According to the council, the selection process was carried out based on transparent and verifiable criteria, ensuring fair representation across key demographic groups, including widows, unemployed persons, the elderly, people with disabilities, and individuals with medical conditions.

A statement from the Public Affairs Unit noted that the shortlisted beneficiaries will undergo a data revalidation exercise to ensure accurate documentation and smooth coordination before the commencement of fund disbursement.

The initiative, which aligns with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, underscores the commitment of the Hon. (Engr.) Abdullahi Sesan Olowa-led administration to inclusive and accountable governance through the council’s SHIEELD Agenda.

The council reaffirmed that the programme aims to deliver tangible socio-economic relief to vulnerable households across Ibeju-Lekki, fostering collective growth and community development.
