Union Bank Launches “Save & Gain” Campaign to Reward Loyal and Digitally Active Customers
Union Bank of Nigeria has introduced a new customer reward initiative aimed at encouraging responsible savings culture, deeper engagement, and increased use of digital banking channels among its customers.
The six-month campaign, titled “Save & Gain,” is open to both new and existing customers. To qualify, participants must open or reactivate accounts, maintain a monthly average balance of at least ₦50,000, conduct a minimum of five transactions monthly, and actively use digital platforms such as bank cards, USSD, mobile or internet banking.
According to the bank, monthly rewards will be distributed based on deposit performance. Eligible customers will have the chance to receive free debit cards and cash prizes of ₦50,000 and ₦100,000 across different participation tiers. In addition, top depositors for the month of December will earn special ₦30,000 cash vouchers, while the grand prize of ₦5 million will go to the customer with the highest average deposit contribution over the campaign period.
Union Bank noted that the new initiative builds on the success of its Save & Win Palli Promo, which has seen more than ₦330 million disbursed in rewards to over 5,000 customers since 2021. The bank emphasised that Save & Gain adopts a more transparent, performance-based system that prioritises consistent account activity and digital usage.
“To incentivise customers who maintain disciplined saving habits and embrace digital banking, this campaign focuses on rewarding sustained responsible account behaviour,” the bank said.
Prospective customers can download the UnionMobile App to open accounts instantly, while returning customers with dormant accounts are encouraged to call the 24-hour Contact Centre on 07007007000 or visit any Union Bank branch nationwide for reactivation.
