VerveLife 8.0 Thrills Thousands with Fitness, Music, and Fun at Eko Convention Centre
The 2025 edition of VerveLife, Africa’s biggest fitness and lifestyle event, concluded in grand style at the Eko Convention Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos — drawing an electrifying crowd of over 10,000 fitness enthusiasts, wellness lovers, and entertainment seekers.
Powered by Verve, Africa’s leading payment cards and digital tokens brand, the VerveLife 8.0 experience — themed “Elev8” — delivered a perfect blend of sweat, sound, and celebration. The event featured high-energy fitness sessions, masterclasses, games, and an unforgettable after party that transformed the venue into a hub of music and movement.
A star-studded lineup of elite trainers including Kemen, Trebla, Mayorfit, BodybyJane, CeeJay Kimani, King of Squats (KOS), Mamiki Slayqueen, Queen Fitnass (South Africa), Alvin Lee (Kenya), Sandra, Dolapo, Macblake, Benfit, TL Funky, HSP Aesthetics, and Dami kept participants on their toes with thrilling workout routines.
From the intense obstacle courses to high-intensity training and wellness-focused sessions, participants enjoyed a variety of activities tailored for all fitness levels. Even children were catered to in a well-equipped kiddies’ corner for ages 3–10, ensuring the day was inclusive and family-friendly.
The excitement peaked during the reward sessions, as three lucky participants emerged winners. Peter Alfred and Paul Amedu each received ₦1 million cash prizes, while Chidera Nkem drove away in a brand-new car — courtesy of Verve, Google Play, and Carloha Chery.
As the sun set, the event transitioned into an explosive afterparty headlined by Timaya, with performances by King Ojem, Shoday, Alternate Sound, and the LOUD Choir. Top DJs including X-Ray, Maze & Xtreme, Toh Bad, and Crowd Kontroller kept the crowd dancing well into the night. Celebrities such as Tobi Bakre, Broda Shaggi, Timi Dakolo, and Dr. Sid were also spotted joining the celebration.
Now in its eighth edition, VerveLife has grown beyond a fitness event to become a Pan-African movement celebrating wellness, community, and self-expression. The 2025 “Elev8” edition once again reinforced Verve’s commitment to promoting active living and connecting people through shared energy and positive vibes.
As the countdown to VerveLife 9.0 begins, fans are already anticipating what promises to be an even bigger and more dynamic celebration of fitness and fun.
