Fidelity Bank Plc, one of Nigeria’s leading financial institutions, is set to host a free virtual masterclass to educate individuals and small businesses on the Nigeria Tax Act 2025 (NTA 2025). The online training is designed to help entrepreneurs understand the new tax law ahead of its enforcement on January 1, 2026.

Scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 12, 2025, the Fidelity Bank tax masterclass will offer clear guidance on key provisions of the NTA 2025, the impact of Nigeria’s new tax reforms on business operations, and practical strategies to remain compliant under the 2026 tax regime. Participants will also learn how to avoid penalties and adapt to the evolving regulatory environment.

Nigeria’s tax landscape underwent a major transformation on June 26, 2025, when President Bola Ahmed Tinubu signed four tax bills into law. The Nigeria Tax Act 2025 forms a central part of this reform package, aimed at modernising the country’s tax framework, widening the tax base, improving revenue generation and simplifying compliance for individuals, SMEs and corporate organisations.
