Governor Soludo Congratulates Ndi Anambra, Nigerians on New Year 2026

The Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR, has congratulated Ndi Anambra and Nigerians on the occasion of the New Year 2026, describing the period as a time of hope, gratitude and renewed determination for collective progress.

In his New Year goodwill message, Governor Soludo expressed optimism that the beginning of a new year offers fresh opportunities to consolidate achievements, learn from past challenges and work together towards building the Anambra State of the people’s vision—one anchored on prosperity, security and sustainable development.

According to a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Christian Aburime, the governor extended warm wishes to citizens and residents of the state, urging them to mark the new year with gratitude while reflecting on the resilience, industry and patriotic spirit that continue to distinguish Ndi Anambra across Nigeria and the global community.

Governor Soludo reassured the people of his administration’s unwavering commitment to positively impacting lives and further transforming the state in the year ahead. He noted that his government remains focused on its key development pillars, including infrastructure development, quality education, accessible healthcare, economic empowerment, environmental sustainability, and the security of lives and property.

He added that in 2026, the Soludo administration would intensify efforts to deliver more projects and programmes aimed at improving living conditions, creating opportunities for young people and positioning Anambra State as a leading hub for investment and innovation in Nigeria.

The governor also emphasised that sustainable development requires strong collaboration between the government and the governed. He therefore called on Ndi Anambra and Nigerians at large to continue supporting and cooperating with governments at both state and federal levels.

Governor Soludo concluded by congratulating Ndi Anambra on the New Year celebration, offering prayers that 2026 would bring abundant blessings, good health, peace and prosperity to households across Anambra State and Nigeria.
