LSSTF Boosts Zone 2 Police Command With Operational Vehicle
The Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) has donated a new operational vehicle to the Zone 2 Police Command, which oversees policing activities in Lagos and Ogun States, in a move aimed at strengthening inter-state security operations, intelligence coordination, and rapid response capabilities.
The presentation, carried out by the Director of Administration of the LSSTF, Mr. Degbola Lewis, who represented the Executive Secretary/Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Ayo Ogunsan, underscores the Fund’s continued commitment to supporting law enforcement agencies with critical operational resources. The development was reported by the National Association of Online Security News Publishers (NAOSNP).
The vehicle was formally received by the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Operations, Zone 2, ACP Saheed Olayinka Egbeyemi, on behalf of the Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of Zone 2, AIG Adegoke Fayoade.
According to the LSSTF, the donation is part of ongoing efforts to enhance operational mobility, improve patrol efficiency, and strengthen strategic command oversight across the Zone 2 policing jurisdiction. These measures are considered vital to effective crime prevention, law enforcement, and the maintenance of public order in both Lagos and Ogun States.
The gesture further reflects the Lagos State Government’s sustained support for security agencies through the LSSTF, as well as its commitment to fostering safer communities through strategic partnerships and targeted interventions.
