IBLCDA Announces Free Wellness Outreach for Residents 40 and Above
The Igbogbo Bayeku LCDA (IBLCDA) has announced a Special Wellness Outreach Programme for residents aged 40 years and above, as part of efforts to promote preventive healthcare and healthy living within the community.
The one-day outreach is scheduled to hold on Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Council Secretariat Hall in Igbogbo Baiyeku.
According to a public notice issued by the council’s Public Affairs Unit, the programme will offer free general health screening, tuberculosis (TB) and HIV testing, as well as medical consultations. In addition, free medications will be provided for residents aged 60 years and above.
The initiative is being organised by IBLCDA in collaboration with Pure Health Wellness Outreach, underscoring the council’s commitment to enhancing access to basic healthcare services at the grassroots level.
Council authorities encouraged eligible residents to take advantage of the opportunity to know their health status and take proactive steps toward safeguarding their well-being.
Reiterating the importance of community health, the council stated that the wellbeing of the people of Igbogbo Baiyeku remains a top priority.
