JMG Limited Launches Engineering Sustainability Walk to Promote Solar Energy Adoption in Nigeria
JMG Limited, a leading integrated electro-mechanical solutions provider in Nigeria, has announced plans to host an Engineering Sustainability and Solar Adoption Walk aimed at promoting renewable energy awareness and advancing sustainable engineering practices across the country.
In a decisive move to champion clean energy and sustainable development, JMG Limited is set to convene engineers, industry stakeholders, and sustainability advocates for its World Engineering Sustainability and Solar Adoption Day Walk.
The initiative, scheduled to commence from the company’s head office at 25 Ologun Agbaje Street, off Adeola Odeku, Lagos, is designed to drive conversations around the critical role of engineering innovation in achieving a sustainable energy future.
According to the company, the walk is not merely a symbolic exercise but a strategic platform to encourage Nigerians to rethink energy consumption patterns and embrace solar power as a viable and forward-looking alternative.
Speaking on the motivation behind the initiative, JMG’s Chief Commercial Officer, Rabi Jammal, emphasised the urgency of adopting cleaner energy solutions.
“Engineering has always driven progress, but the choices we make today will define the future we leave behind. Solar energy is no longer an option; it is the path forward. This walk is our way of taking ownership and leading that change responsibly and boldly,” he said.
JMG Limited noted that the event underscores its broader commitment to supporting Nigeria’s transition to renewable energy while reinforcing its position as a key player in the engineering sector.
With operations spanning power generation, electrical systems, vertical transportation, cooling solutions, and air compressors, the company continues to provide critical infrastructure that powers industries and communities nationwide.
The Engineering Sustainability and Solar Adoption Walk is expected to amplify awareness on the benefits of solar energy while fostering collaboration among stakeholders committed to building a cleaner and more energy-efficient future for Nigeria.
