LSSTF CEO Ayodele Ogunsan Felicitates Muslims on Eid-el-Fitr, Urges Support for Security Trust Fund

The Executive Secretary and Chief Executive Officer of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF), Ayodele Ogunsan, has congratulated Muslim faithful on the celebration of Eid-el-Fitr, commending their devotion during the holy month of Ramadan and praying for abundant rewards for their sacrifices.

The Executive Secretary and Chief Executive Officer of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF), Ayodele Ogunsan, has felicitated with Muslim faithful on the occasion of the 2026 Eid-el-Fitr celebration, marking the successful completion of the 30-day Ramadan fast.

In a goodwill message, Dr. Ogunsan rejoiced with Muslims across Nigeria and around the world, noting that Eid-el-Fitr signifies the end of a period of intense fasting, devotion, sacrifice, and spiritual reflection observed during Ramadan.

He commended Muslim faithful for their commitment to the core values promoted during the holy month, including piety, empathy, compassion, and unity among humanity.

Dr. Ogunsan prayed that the good deeds and sacrifices made throughout Ramadan would attract abundant rewards, while also asking that the blessings of the holy month continue to strengthen families, communities, the state, and the nation at large.

“I pray that your good deeds and sacrifices will be abundantly rewarded and that the blessings of Ramadan will continue to strengthen our homes, communities, state, and nation. I wish you all a blessed Eid,” he said.

The LSSTF chief also urged Muslims to extend kindness to the less privileged during the festive period, encouraging acts of charity and compassion as part of the values promoted during Ramadan.

He further called on well-meaning individuals and organisations to support the activities of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund through donations, noting that such contributions would help strengthen the state’s security architecture and sustain efforts aimed at safeguarding lives and property.

Dr. Ogunsan also observed that the year 2026 presents a unique moment of religious harmony, as the Christian Lenten season and the Muslim Ramadan fast both commenced on February 18, a rare occurrence that underscores the importance of unity and peaceful coexistence among people of different faiths.

He said the development should inspire greater understanding, cooperation, and harmony among Nigerians and the global community.
