The Executive Secretary/CEO of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF), Dr. Ayo Ogunsan, has paid a glowing tribute to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his 74th birthday, praising his leadership as transformative and pivotal to Nigeria’s economic and governance reforms.

In a statement marking the President’s birthday, Dr. Ogunsan described Tinubu as a visionary statesman whose bold policy decisions have redefined Nigeria’s fiscal and economic trajectory.

He specifically commended the administration’s removal of the fuel subsidy, describing it as a courageous and decisive move that ended a long-standing fiscal strain while redirecting national priorities toward sustainability and accountability. According to him, the policy shift reflects uncommon political will in addressing structural economic challenges.

Ogunsan also lauded the unification of the foreign exchange system, noting that the reform has enhanced transparency and boosted investor confidence in Nigeria’s financial ecosystem.
