The annual event, marked every March 8, provides an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of women across different sectors while drawing attention to the need for accelerated action toward gender equality.

Speaking on the occasion, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Polaris Bank, Kayode Lawal, said the financial institution remains committed to creating an environment where women can thrive professionally and financially.
