Ecobank Nigeria Guarantees Seamless Banking Services During Easter Holidays
Ecobank Nigeria has assured its customers of uninterrupted access to banking services during the Easter public holidays, reaffirming its readiness to support increased financial transactions through its secure and robust digital platforms.
Ecobank Nigeria, a subsidiary of the Ecobank Group, says all its digital banking channels will remain fully operational throughout the Easter festive period to ensure customers continue to enjoy seamless financial services.
The bank disclosed that its wide range of digital platforms—including the Ecobank Mobile App, Ecobank Business App, USSD *326#, Ecobank Online, OmniPlus, Omnilite, EcobankPay, as well as its cards, ATMs, PoS terminals, and over 35,000 Xpress Point agent locations nationwide—will be accessible during the holidays.
Speaking on the bank’s preparedness, Head of Products and Analytics, Consumer and Commercial Banking, Victor Yalokwu, said customers can rely on Ecobank’s digital infrastructure for convenient and secure transactions at any time.
According to him, customers will be able to carry out essential banking services such as local and international transfers, bill payments, airtime top-ups, merchant payments, balance enquiries, account statements, and cardless withdrawals via ATMs without disruption.
He noted that festive periods are typically characterised by increased financial activity, stressing that the bank has strengthened its systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Yalokwu also urged customers to prioritise security while carrying out transactions by using trusted websites, safeguarding sensitive information such as PINs and one-time passwords, avoiding public Wi-Fi for banking activities, and remaining cautious of suspicious or urgent messages.
He reaffirmed the bank’s commitment to delivering innovative financial solutions and maintaining high standards of customer service, while wishing customers and partners a peaceful and joyful Easter celebration.
Ecobank Nigeria operates as part of the Ecobank Group, a leading pan-African banking institution with a presence in 32 African countries and international offices in London, Paris, Beijing, and Dubai. The bank boasts over 220 branches and more than 36,000 agency banking locations, positioning it as a key player in advancing financial inclusion and supporting trade across Africa, particularly under the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).
