LSSTF Donates Operational Vehicle to Man O’ War Lagos, Reaffirms Support for Youth-Based Security Initiatives
The Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) has reinforced its commitment to community policing and youth development with the donation of an operational vehicle to Man O’ War Nigeria, Lagos State Command.
The presentation, which highlights LSSTF’s sustained investment in grassroots security architecture, is aimed at enhancing the mobility and operational efficiency of the voluntary paramilitary group known for supporting public safety and emergency response efforts across Lagos.
Speaking during the handover, the Director of Administration, LSSTF, Degbola Lewis, who represented the Executive Secretary/CEO, Ayo Ogunsan, emphasized the Fund’s dedication to empowering credible youth-focused organisations.
He noted that groups like Man O’ War play a vital role in maintaining peace, promoting discipline, and providing support to formal security agencies, particularly at the grassroots level.
Receiving the vehicle on behalf of the Lagos Command, the State Commander of Man O’ War, Lucky William Onimowo, expressed appreciation for the gesture, describing it as timely and impactful in boosting the organisation’s operational capacity.
The donation further underscores LSSTF’s strategic approach to strengthening partnerships with voluntary and paramilitary organisations, while advancing community-based security initiatives across Lagos State.
