IGBOGBO, LAGOS — In a move to promote access to basic education and support young learners, HOA Disciples have distributed 1,000 exercise books to pupils across three primary schools in Igbogbo Kingdom as part of activities marking the birthday of the Executive Chairman of Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA, Omo’ba Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun.
The beneficiary schools include AUD Primary School, Methodist Primary School, and UAMC Eleja Primary School, where pupils received the learning materials aimed at enhancing their academic experience.
The initiative, according to the group, aligns with the Chairman’s development agenda, which places strong emphasis on education as a cornerstone for community growth. By providing essential school supplies, HOA Disciples said it seeks to ease the financial burden on parents while encouraging pupils to remain committed to their studies.
The group noted that the gesture reflects a broader commitment to human capital development and underscores the importance of community-driven interventions in strengthening the education sector.
“This effort is not only a celebration of the Chairman’s birthday but also a demonstration of our shared vision for a better future through education,” the group stated.
They further commended Aroyewun for his leadership and dedication to the advancement of Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA, adding that initiatives supporting education will continue to receive their backing.
The distribution exercise highlights the role of collaborative efforts in fostering educational development and ensuring that children have the basic tools needed to succeed academically.
HOA Disciples reaffirmed its commitment to supporting initiatives that contribute to the growth and development of the community, particularly in the area of education.
