Featuring 10 carefully selected home cooks drawn from across the country, the competition promises a gripping culinary contest, with participants vying for a grand prize of N73 million and the prestigious title of Nigeria’s first-ever MasterChef winner.
Organisers say the contestants represent a diverse mix of creativity, technical expertise, and passion, and will be subjected to a series of high-pressure challenges designed to test their innovation, resilience, and mastery of flavours.
The Nigerian adaptation aims to spotlight the country’s rich culinary heritage, blending traditional cuisine with modern techniques in a format that has gained global acclaim.
The judging panel includes renowned chefs Chef Stone and Chef Eros, who will oversee the competition and evaluate contestants’ performances.
“Viewers should expect dishes that are bold, unexpected, and full of Nigerian flair,” Chef Stone said, adding that the season will focus on “creativity meeting precision.”
