Interswitch Unveils Digital Forecourt Suite at NNPC Retail Summit

Leading African technology company, Interswitch, has unveiled its Digital Forecourt Suite, an integrated retail ecosystem designed to connect payments, operations, and customer experiences within modern fuel retail environments.

The unveiling took place during the NNPC Retail Business Transformation Summit held at the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) in Abuja, where Interswitch participated as the Headline Technology Partner.

At the centre of the solution is the “Pay-As-You-Want” capability, a flexible payment feature that allows customers to pay for fuel and related services using multiple channels including cards, transfers, USSD, QR codes, wallets, and other digital payment options.

According to the company, the solution is aimed at helping fuel retailers improve operational efficiency, enhance service delivery, and meet the growing demand for seamless and customer-focused digital experiences.

The summit brought together regulators, industry leaders, technology providers, and stakeholders across the downstream petroleum sector to discuss the future of retail energy in Nigeria, with focus on digital innovation, operational optimisation, and customer-centric service delivery.

Speaking during the event, Chinyere Don-Okhuofu, Managing Director, Industry Ecosystems at Interswitch, said sustainable business transformation requires the development of intelligent digital infrastructure capable of improving operational performance and customer engagement.

She noted that businesses must embrace connected ecosystems that enhance efficiency, improve customer experiences, and unlock growth opportunities as industries continue to evolve.
