JMG Expands Industrial, Retail, Logistics Operations With Major Q1 2026 Projects

JMG Limited⁠� has strengthened its position in Nigeria’s industrial and infrastructure landscape with the execution of several large-scale engineering and logistics projects in the first quarter of 2026, spanning manufacturing, retail operations, and nationwide distribution networks.

The company said the projects reflect its commitment to delivering integrated systems that improve operational efficiency, reliability, and long-term scalability across critical sectors of the economy.

One of the flagship industrial projects was executed at Dangote Cement⁠�’s Gboko plant, where JMG Industrial upgraded the facility’s compressed air infrastructure to enhance production performance.

Following a detailed audit and airflow evaluation, the company deployed eight Kaeser compressor rotary lobe blower units specifically designed for continuous-duty cement manufacturing operations. The upgrade reportedly boosted airflow efficiency by 23 per cent, while peak airflow capacity increased by 47 per cent, leading to improved pressure stability, reduced energy losses, and stronger production reliability.

In the retail sector, JMG delivered a comprehensive infrastructure upgrade for Quick Buy Supermarket through the integration of its power, cooling, and electrical divisions.

The project featured a synchronized power system comprising two FG Wilson 550kVA generators and a 330kVA generator powered by Perkins engines, all integrated with grid electricity to ensure uninterrupted operations and seamless load management.

To support temperature-sensitive retail and storage operations, the company also deployed a hybrid HVAC solution using Trane⁠� rooftop units, VRF zoning systems, ducted airflow networks, and inverter-based split and cassette units.

According to the company, the redesigned electrical architecture further improved load stability, system protection, and future expansion capacity.

Beyond engineering infrastructure, JMG also expanded its logistics operations through JMG Haulage with the addition of 20 heavy-duty trucks to strengthen nationwide distribution capabilities.

The trucks, designed to carry up to 24 pallets and payloads of 45 tons, are expected to support FMCG and industrial supply chains across Nigeria’s major commercial corridors.

The company added that the fleet combines CNG-powered trucks, capable of travelling up to 1,400 kilometres, with diesel-powered units to improve operational flexibility and route resilience.

Commenting on the company’s Q1 performance, JMG Limited’s Chief Commercial Officer, Rabi Jammal, said the company remains focused on building integrated systems that improve operational performance for clients.
