In a statement marking the commencement of the new month of May and the celebration of Workers’ Day, Nwaeze extended warm greetings to members, partners, and stakeholders within the maritime industry and beyond, describing the period as an opportunity for renewed growth and collective progress.

She noted that Workers’ Day remains a significant moment to recognise the dedication, resilience, and contributions of workers across all sectors, while commending women professionals who continue to demonstrate excellence and commitment in their various roles.

The WIMA Nigeria President particularly lauded women in the maritime sector for their role in shaping a more inclusive and innovative industry, stating that their courage and professionalism continue to break barriers and set new standards.

“Your efforts remain a driving force in shaping a more inclusive, innovative, and forward-looking industry. You are seen, valued, and your impact is deeply appreciated,” she said.

Reaffirming the organisation’s commitment to its core pillars of empowerment, innovation, collaboration, and national visibility, Nwaeze emphasized that WIMA Nigeria will continue to provide platforms that support the growth of women and strengthen partnerships across the sector.

She further called on members to embrace the new month with discipline, optimism, and a shared commitment to supporting one another and contributing meaningfully to societal development.

Nwaeze wished all workers continued success, good health, and greater achievements in their endeavours, while extending best wishes for the month of May.

The statement concluded with her goodwill message to all members and stakeholders, expressing hope for sustained progress within the maritime industry and beyond.
