The engagement, held under the auspices of the National Hydrographic Agency, Ecological Project Office and the Centre for Renewable Energy and Action against Climate Change, focused on deepening cooperation among relevant agencies in addressing environmental and maritime challenges.

Speaking during the visit, Dr Ndayako stressed the need to balance human activities with environmental sustainability, particularly through the protection of biodiversity, restoration of degraded ecosystems and development of effective strategies to mitigate the effects of climate change.

She also emphasised the importance of data sharing and community engagement in achieving sustainable and effective coastal zone management.
