Agege Security Summit: LSSTF CEO Ogunsan to Speak on Public-Private Partnership in Community Security
The Executive Secretary/Chief Executive Officer of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF), Dr. Ayodele Ogunsan, is set to share insights on public-private partnership and stakeholder collaboration in strengthening community security at the forthcoming Agege Security Summit.
Ogunsan has been invited as a Guest Speaker at the summit, scheduled to hold on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at the Agege Local Government Hall, beginning at 10 a.m.
He is expected to speak on “Public Private Partnership in Community Security,” drawing on his experience in security financing, inter-agency collaboration and strategic investment in public safety.
His participation is expected to highlight the importance of collaborative approaches to security management, particularly the role of government, businesses, communities and other stakeholders in supporting safer communities.
The summit, hosted by the Executive Chairman of Agege Local Government, Hon. Vinod Obasa, is designed as a community-focused platform for government officials, security professionals, traditional and community leaders, businesses and residents to discuss security challenges and explore practical solutions for sustainable community safety and development.
According to the organisers, Ogunsan’s experience as the head of the LSSTF makes his perspective particularly relevant to discussions on sustainable security financing and strategic partnerships.
They noted that his contribution would provide stakeholders with insights into how government, private-sector organisations and communities can work together to strengthen security infrastructure, improve intelligence sharing and support effective crime prevention and response.
The summit comes amid growing emphasis on community participation and sustainable financing as important components of contemporary security management.
Beyond conventional law enforcement, stakeholders increasingly recognise the role of partnerships in areas such as prevention, intelligence gathering and sharing, logistics, public awareness and rapid response.
Other speakers expected at the summit include the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa; Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Fatai Tijani; former Orile-Agege LCDA Chairman, Hon. J.S. Babatunde; ACP Saheed Egbeyemi; real estate investor, Abdullahi Saheed Mosadoluwa; Convener, Abdullahi Anikulapo; and the Chief Host, Hon. Vinod Obasa.
The organisers said Ogunsan’s participation would contribute to broader discussions on practical strategies for building a safer, more secure and sustainably developed Agege community.
