LSSTF Board Member Ogunsan Congratulates DIG Ari Mohammed Ali on Promotion
The newly appointed Deputy Inspector-General of Police (DIG) for North Central, Ari Mohammed Ali, has officially assumed office following a decoration ceremony at the Force Headquarters, Abuja. The ceremony, presided over by Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, marked DIG Ari’s elevation to his new rank.
The event was attended by senior police officers, family members, and well-wishers, including DIG Force CID Abiodun Alabi, DIG Frank Mba, and Hajia Zainab Mohammed Ali, wife of the newly promoted DIG. Dr. Ayo Ogunsan, a trusted ally of DIG Ari and a Board Member of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF), was also present to celebrate the occasion.
In a congratulatory message shared with the National Association of Online Security News Publishers (NAOSNP), Dr. Ogunsan lauded DIG Ari's exceptional career achievements and dedication to policing. He stated, “Our new DIG, I am particularly excited about your growth in your policing career. From your early days as a junior officer to this exalted position at Force Headquarters Management, you have consistently demonstrated excellence. Please do not relent. Keep giving your best to ensure the safety and security of Nigerians, especially those in the North Central region.”
Encouraging DIG Ari to approach his new role with commitment and determination, Dr. Ogunsan added, “You are a great personality, and I urge you to give your 100 percent effort in this new role. May the Lord Almighty grant you the wisdom required to succeed in this important phase of your career.”
DIG Ari Mohammed Ali previously served as the Assistant Inspector-General of Police (AIG) for Zone 1, Kano. His promotion to DIG was announced by the Police Service Commission a week ago, following the retirement of DIG Ade Ayuba.
With this promotion, DIG Ari is now part of the Force Headquarters Management Team and is tasked with overseeing police operations in the North Central region. His elevation underscores his commitment and significant contributions to law enforcement in Nigeria.
The ceremony concluded with accolades from colleagues, family, and friends, all wishing DIG Ari success in his new role.
