Hon. Olowa, New Army Commanding Officer Meet to Strengthen Security in Ibeju-Lekki
IBEJU-LEKKI, LAGOS — JULY 22, 2025 — In a renewed push to enhance security across Ibeju-Lekki Local Government Area, the Executive Chairman, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, on Tuesday, received the new Commanding Officer of the 81 Division Base Ordnance Depot, Epe, Lt. Col. S. T. Enye, in a strategic meeting aimed at fostering collaboration and safeguarding lives and property within the council area.
The courtesy visit, held at the council secretariat, marked the beginning of a working relationship between the local authority and the Nigerian Army's unit stationed in the area.
While welcoming the new Commanding Officer, Hon. Olowa expressed his gratitude for the visit and emphasized the significance of sustained cooperation between the local government and the military.
