AIG Adegoke Fayode Commissions Upgraded Zone 2 Police Clinic
Lagos, Nigeria – August 8, 2025: The Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of Zone 2 Command, comprising Lagos and Ogun States, AIG Adegoke M. Fayode, has commissioned the newly upgraded Zone 2 Police Clinic in Lagos.
The commissioning ceremony, held on Thursday, August 7, 2025, marked a significant step in improving healthcare services for police personnel and their families within the command.
The Chief Executive Officer of Haven Homes Property, Mr. Sonuga Tayo, represented by Managing Director Ufuoma Ilesanmi, said the upgrade was undertaken to enhance the overall wellbeing of patients by providing quality medical care. He noted that the clinic serves as a primary healthcare facility, equipped to handle emergencies that may arise in the course of duty, thereby preventing complications.
Commending Haven Homes Property for its support, AIG Fayode expressed appreciation for the gesture, describing it as a testament to the public’s willingness to partner with the police in the quest for effective service delivery.
“This medical support is a huge morale booster for our personnel. It is encouraging to see that members of the public recognise and support the work we do,” the AIG said.
The upgraded clinic now features improved facilities, including two split-unit air conditioners, four intensive care unit hospital beds, an iron weighing balance, an autoclave, a pulse oximeter, a sphygmomanometer, and an X-ray viewing screen, among others.
The Zone 2 Police Clinic is expected to significantly improve access to prompt and quality medical attention for officers, fostering better health and operational readiness across the command.
