Dr. Ajokesings Hosts Grand Finale of SPAW Talent Quest to Spotlight Emerging Gospel Stars

A new wave of inspiration is set to sweep through Nigeria’s gospel music scene as Dr. Ajoke Ogunsan, popularly known as Dr. Ajokesings, stages the grand finale of the maiden edition of the Symphony of Praise and Worship (SPAW) Talent Quest — a platform created to discover, nurture, and empower the next generation of gospel music stars.

According to Trek Africa Newspaper, the initiative aims to transform raw musical talent and spiritual passion into excellence and global recognition.

The grand finale of the competition is scheduled to hold on Friday, October 31, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at the Regal Hall, Plot A3C, Ikosi Road, Ikeja, Lagos. Out of more than 100 aspiring gospel artistes who initially registered, 50 outstanding contestants have advanced to the final stage, where they will perform before a panel of seasoned judges from Nigeria’s gospel music industry.

The event promises to be an inspiring showcase of worship, creativity, and musical excellence, highlighting the divine gift of music while preparing participants for professional impact.

Winners at the SPAW Talent Quest will receive cash prizes and rewards worth over ₦3 million. The first-place winner will go home with ₦750,000 and exclusive privileges, while the second and third-place winners will receive ₦500,000 and ₦350,000, respectively.

Speaking on the vision behind the initiative, Dr. Ajoke Ogunsan described the SPAW Talent Quest as a divine assignment aimed at building the capacity, confidence, and spiritual depth of young gospel musicians.

The SPAW Talent Quest, according to the organisers, is not just a competition but a movement to elevate the standard of gospel music in Nigeria, fostering a new generation of artistes who will inspire through excellence and faith.
