Ibeju-Lekki Council Rewards Fifth First-Class Graduate with ₦500,000

In recognition of academic excellence, the Ibeju-Lekki Local Government has presented a cash award of ₦500,000 to Mr. Sanni Yusuf, an indigene of Solu Alade and a first-class graduate of Lagos State University (LASU).

The gesture is part of the council’s ongoing academic excellence reward initiative introduced by the Executive Chairman, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, to celebrate and encourage brilliant students from the local government area.

With Mr. Yusuf’s recognition, a total of five indigenes have now benefited from the scheme, which underscores the council’s unwavering commitment to promoting education and supporting youths who distinguish themselves academically.

Hon. Olowa has consistently emphasized that investing in education remains one of the most effective ways to empower young people and drive sustainable community development.
