Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA Celebrates Nigeria’s Best School Administrator, Mrs. Odenike Fausat Mobolaji

In recognition of her outstanding contribution to education and national honour, the Chairman of Igbogbo/Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Omo’ba Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun (HOA), on Tuesday, hosted Mrs. Odenike Fausat Mobolaji, Principal of Elepe Community Junior High School, who recently emerged as Nigeria’s Best School Administrator at the 2025 Presidential Teachers’ and School Excellence Awards held in Abuja.

The celebratory reception, held at the LCDA Secretariat, brought together education stakeholders, community leaders, and government officials to honour Mrs. Mobolaji’s remarkable achievement and reaffirm the council’s commitment to promoting excellence in education.

In his remarks, Chairman Aroyewun praised the award-winning principal for her dedication, professionalism, and passion for nurturing young minds, describing her feat as “a reflection of diligence, discipline, and leadership that continues to inspire others.”

“This national recognition speaks volumes about your commitment to educational excellence and your positive impact on both students and colleagues,” Aroyewun said. “You have brought pride not just to Elepe Community Junior High School but to Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA, Lagos State, and the entire nation.”

He added that Mrs. Mobolaji’s achievement would motivate other educators within the LCDA to aim higher, stressing that integrity and excellence in service will always be recognised and rewarded.

Also speaking at the event, the Vice Chairman, Barr. Ade Ayeni, congratulated Mrs. Mobolaji and urged her to sustain the exceptional standards that earned her the prestigious national honour. He described her recognition as a testament to Igbogbo/Baiyeku’s culture of hard work, integrity, and academic excellence.

The event drew the attendance of several dignitaries, including Ambassador Odenike Rasheed Abolanle, Deputy Director of Education, District II; Mrs. Adegbenle Idowu, Director of Schools Administration; Mr. Lawal Rasheed Bamidele, Principal, Zumuratul Islamiyyah Senior Grammar School, Igbogbo; Mrs. Olaniyan Joshua Toyin, Vice Principal (Administration), Elepe Community Junior High School; Mrs. Olaboshinde Titilola Iyawo, Head of Department (Science); and Chief Lanre Odenire, among others.

As part of the recognition, Chairman Aroyewun presented a special gift to the award-winning principal on behalf of the council, describing it as a token of pride and appreciation for her landmark achievement.

In her response, Mrs. Mobolaji expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Chairman and the entire council for the honour and warm reception. She said the recognition was both humbling and inspiring, pledging to continue her pursuit of excellence through innovative leadership and a renewed passion for quality education.
