FirstBank to Host SMEConnect Webinar on New Tax Law for SMEs



Lagos, 19 November 2025 – FirstBank, West Africa’s leading financial institution, is set to host its SMEConnect Webinar on Wednesday, 26 November 2025, aimed at empowering small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with critical knowledge and resources to thrive in today’s competitive business environment.

The webinar, themed “Strategies for SMEs: Securing Your Business Under the New Tax Law,” will provide participants with guidance on upcoming changes in tax regulations, helping them stay compliant and leverage new opportunities for growth.

Industry experts and thought leaders are expected to share insights, including Taiwo Oyedele, Chairman of the Presidential Committee on Fiscal Policy and Tax Reforms (Keynote Speaker); Yemi Adesanya, FirstBank’s Financial Controller (Guest Speaker); and Dr. Abiodun Famuyiwa, Head of SME Banking at FirstBank (Host). Discussions will cover challenges SMEs face, digital tools for business growth, and financial solutions available to support SME development.
