Interswitch Showcases Technology Leadership at 2025 Delta Tech Week

Interswitch, one of Africa’s leading integrated payments and digital commerce companies, played a pivotal role at the inaugural Delta Tech Week 2025, the flagship innovation, technology, and entrepreneurship festival organised by the Delta State Government through its Ministry of Science and Technology. The five-day event, held in Asaba from December 1 to 5, brought together startups, corporates, academia, investors, developers, and ecosystem enablers from across Nigeria.

As a key sponsor, Interswitch demonstrated its technology leadership through product showcases, developer-focused sessions, and panel discussions, highlighting its commitment to strengthening Nigeria’s digital infrastructure and supporting innovation in the South-South region. The company’s participation aligns with Delta State’s ambition to position itself as an emerging technology hub through collaboration, capacity-building, and ecosystem development.

A major highlight of Interswitch’s engagement was the API Marketplace and Interswitch Payment Gateway showcase, which demonstrated how businesses and developers can seamlessly integrate for payments, collections, merchant services, reconciliations, and commerce expansion. Attendees gained hands-on insights into how Interswitch’s technology facilitates secure, frictionless payment experiences and helps enterprises scale across Nigeria.

The company also took part in panel discussions covering financial inclusion, digital commerce enablement, developer culture, and the role of digital infrastructure in socio-economic growth, further cementing its position as a thought leader in the country’s digital economy.
