SUBEB PROs Mourn Gombe Colleague, Judith Moses

The National Forum of Public Relations Officers of State Universal Basic Education Boards (SUBEB) has expressed deep grief over the death of Mrs. Judith Moses, Public Relations Officer of the Gombe State Universal Basic Education Board, who lost her life in a tragic road accident.

In a condolence statement jointly signed by the National Coordinator, Richard Nanpon Jonah, and the National Secretary, Olamide Adeniji, the Forum described Mrs. Moses’ death as a devastating loss to the SUBEB public relations community nationwide.

Mrs. Moses was reportedly among the victims of a fatal vehicular accident involving members of the Gombe State Chapter of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ). The journalists were said to be returning from a colleague’s wedding ceremony in Adamawa State when the accident occurred.

Preliminary reports indicate that eight persons lost their lives in the crash, including Mrs. Moses, who was widely regarded by colleagues as a dedicated, amiable, and highly professional public relations practitioner.

The Forum noted that her commitment to effective public communication and the advancement of basic education in Gombe State distinguished her as a loyal team player whose contributions will be greatly missed.

“We are deeply saddened by this tragic event and pray that God grants her soul eternal rest,” the statement read.

“Our heartfelt condolences go to her immediate family, colleagues, and loved ones. May the Almighty grant them strength and comfort during this difficult time.”

The National Forum of SUBEB PROs added that Mrs. Moses’ professionalism, warmth, and dedication to duty will remain a lasting legacy within the education and public relations community.
