JMG, Jamara Launch J-Women Impact Network to Empower Female Workforce at International Women’s Day Event

In celebration of International Women’s Day 2026, JMG Limited in collaboration with Jamara Home has launched the J-Women Impact Network (J-WIN), a new initiative aimed at promoting mentorship, collaboration and professional development among women across both organisations.

The initiative was unveiled during a special International Women’s Day celebration hosted by the companies for their female employees at the Radisson Blu Anchorage Hotel.

The event brought together women from both organisations in an atmosphere of inspiration, reflection and shared experiences, in line with this year’s International Women’s Day theme, “Give to Gain,” which emphasises the power of generosity, support and collective advancement in building stronger workplaces.

Speaking at the event, the Chief Commercial Officer of JMG Limited, Mr. Rabi Jammal, commended the women across the organisations for their dedication and contributions to the companies’ growth.

According to him, empowering women in the workplace is essential for building resilient organisations and driving sustainable progress. He noted that the newly introduced J-Women Impact Network (J-WIN) would create opportunities for women to connect, support one another and grow both professionally and personally.

The network was formally launched by Mr. Jammal alongside the Chief Operations Officer, Mr. Christian G. Kozma, marking a significant step toward strengthening internal support systems for women within the organisations.

Also speaking at the event, the Chief Human Resources Officer, Mrs. Gloria Ibeziako, encouraged employees to actively engage with the network. She described it as a platform designed to help women build meaningful relationships, access mentorship opportunities and support one another in their professional journeys.

Delivering the keynote address, Adeyanju Olomola urged participants to embrace the spirit of giving, noting that women thrive when they invest in personal development while also uplifting others.

The celebration featured several interactive activities, including a “Pass the Mic” session where participants shared personal experiences, as well as a fireside chat on leadership, career growth and navigating professional journeys.

The fireside discussion featured Adeyanju Olomola, Lead Coach and Chief Executive Officer of The Source Coaching Ltd, alongside Mrs. Ibeziako and human resource professional Nneka Jethro-Iruobe, a Happy Employee advocate. The session was moderated by Oluwatomi Faniran, who guided discussions around mentorship, resilience and the importance of building supportive professional networks for women.

The event concluded with a renewed commitment by JMG Limited and Jamara Home to continue fostering inclusive workplaces where women are empowered to thrive, lead and create lasting impact.

Jamara Home’s product range includes televisions, refrigerators, freezers, audio systems, gas cookers and other cooking appliances, air conditioners, washing machines and power solutions.
